Terms and conditions

1. Who you are buying from

Raxworks Limited trading as Sewage Station Direct, company number 16970728. Business address: 132 Wheatley Lane Road, Barrowford, Nelson, England, BB9 6QJ.

Telephone: 0203 8851 996. Email: Sales@theplumbingsuppliers.co.uk. These terms apply to orders placed with us. Please retain a copy of the terms and your order confirmation. Updated 5 November 2026.

2. Product information and suitability

Check the description, dimensions, selected options and connection requirements before ordering. Images illustrate the product and may show optional components; the order specification determines what is included. Contact us if information is unclear or inconsistent. Selecting a pumping station requires consideration of the installation and duty, not chamber capacity alone. Advice based on incomplete site information does not replace a site-specific design. This does not remove our responsibility for accurate descriptions or advice we agree to provide.

3. Orders and prices

The order summary shows the goods, selected extras and applicable delivery charge before payment. Prices are in pounds sterling. We do not currently charge VAT. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt of an order; acceptance occurs when we send a dispatch confirmation, unless we expressly accept it earlier. If we cannot supply an item or identify a material pricing error, we will contact you and offer a correction or cancellation with a refund rather than substitute without agreement.

4. Payment

Payments may be processed through Stripe, Mollie, Klarna or Clearpay, as offered at checkout. Available methods and any eligibility requirements are shown before you commit to the order. A payment provider’s terms apply to its payment service, including any credit arrangement. They do not replace your rights against us as the seller. Do not send card details by email or through our contact form.

5. Delivery

Delivery costs £39 across England, Scotland and Wales. Orders before 1pm Monday–Thursday are intended for same-day dispatch and estimated next-working-day delivery where possible. Friday orders before 1pm are intended for Friday dispatch and estimated Monday delivery. Weekend orders and Friday orders after 1pm move to Monday dispatch, with estimated Tuesday delivery. Bank holidays affect this timetable. Orders after the cut-off need an additional working day.

Next-day delivery is estimated, not guaranteed. The charge pays for courier and logistics services, not a guaranteed delivery time. Please allow up to three working days after dispatch before raising a routine delay enquiry. You can report urgent problems sooner. Our delivery policy gives full details. We remain responsible for consumer goods until you, or a person you nominate, take physical possession, subject to any statutory exception for a carrier you independently commission.

6. Cancellation and returns

Contact us within 30 days of delivery to arrange a return. You pay direct return costs for change-of-mind returns; we arrange a free return where necessary if we are responsible. Refunds are processed within seven days of receiving returned items, subject to any earlier statutory deadline. Our returns policy explains the statutory cancellation period, standard delivery refunds and optional cancellation message.

7. Faults and warranty

All products include our five-year warranty. Consumer goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for an agreed purpose and as described. Contact us about any fault so we can assess the appropriate legal remedy. Statutory rights are not limited by the warranty period or our voluntary return window.

8. Installation and safe use

Arrange suitable professional installation and follow the product instructions. Electrical work, excavation and chamber access require appropriate competence and safety arrangements. Do not enter a sewage chamber. We do not include installation or servicing with a product purchase unless it is expressly agreed in your order.

9. Liability and events outside our control

We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our breach of contract or lack of reasonable care where the law makes us responsible. We do not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If an event outside our reasonable control delays an order, we will take reasonable steps to reduce its effect and discuss your options; this does not remove statutory cancellation or refund rights.

10. Privacy, complaints and governing law

Our privacy policy explains how personal information is used. Please raise concerns through our complaints process. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections or access to courts available in their home jurisdiction.
